SaunaSteamer is an independent comparison site for saunas. We handle your data with care and store as little as possible. This page explains which data we use, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
SaunaSteamer is a service of Fource Online B.V., Willem Alexanderstraat 17, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 90055195. Send questions about privacy to partners@saunasteamer.com.
Which data do we use?
- Visiting the site: you can use the site without an account. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Clicking through to a shop: when you click a button to a shop, we store the product, the shop, the time, the page you came from and an encrypted code of your IP address and browser. We cannot identify you from that code. We use it to count clicks, filter out double clicks and bots, and to invoice the shop.
- Contact and sign-up form: your name, email address and message and, if you apply as a retailer, also company name, website, phone number and feed.
- Partner account: name, email address and login details of staff of connected shops.
Why do we use this data?
We use click data to provide and invoice our service. That is our legitimate interest. We use form data to answer your question or start a partnership. We use partner data to carry out the agreement.
How long do we keep data?
- Click data: up to 24 months. Invoice amounts are kept for 7 years, because the law requires it.
- Messages and applications: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Partner accounts: as long as the partnership runs. After that we delete the account.
Who do we share data with?
We do not sell data. We work with a hosting company in the EU and an email provider. When spam protection is switched on, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to detect bots. Shops only see in their dashboard how many clicks there were, on which products and from which page. They do not see who clicked.
When you go to a shop
After a click you are on the shop’s website. The privacy policy of that shop applies there. We have no influence on what the shop does with your data.
Your rights
You may view, correct or delete your data, and you may object. Send an email to partners@saunasteamer.com. We reply within one month. You can also file a complaint with your national data protection authority.
